Mind your Minors: The Consumer Protection Act and Minor Contractual Capacity
Abstract
Consumer law has legally evolved over the last century and as a result, has enabled South African contract law to adapt to modern living systems of the 21st century. This article explores the statutory involvement of section 39 of the Consumer Protection Act[1] (hereinafter referred to as the “CPAâ€) and the common law regarding minor contractual capacity.
