  • Zinzi Lawrence

Abstract

In any constitutional dispensation, a proposal to introduce a dress code in parliament will give rise to conflicting views. This article will advance the view that such a proposal is unconstitutional and beyond the functions and role of the legislature. This will be done by placing emphasis on the supremacy of the Constitution and its relationship with the legislature.
